Drivers: Government-issued identification, driver’s licenses, performance metrics (Driver Intelligence), and training records.

B. Logistics & Telemetry Data (Real-Time)

Geolocation Data: Precise real-time GPS coordinates of fleet units and cargo via our Leaflet-integrated Command Center.
Asset Telemetry: Vehicle health, fuel efficiency, and speed monitoring.
ePOD & Documentation: Digital Proof of Delivery, waybills, and AfCFTA compliance documents stored in our Document Vault.

C. Financial & Transactional Data

Ledger Data: Records of services rendered, shipping cost calculations, and financial settlement history.

D. Sustainability & ESG Data

Carbon Footprint Analytics: Data derived from shipment weight and distance used for our CO2 Simulator and Eco-Cargo Dashboard.

2. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data under the following legal frameworks:

  • Contractual Necessity: To execute haulage contracts and provide real-time tracking.
  • Legal Obligation: For customs compliance (AfCFTA), tax reporting, and road safety regulations.
  • Legitimate Interests: To optimize fleet routes, enhance platform security, and improve our "Glassmorphism" UI/UX based on user interaction.
  • Consent: For marketing communications and the use of non-essential cookies.

3. High-Performance Technology & Data Security

Our architecture is designed with a "Security by Design" philosophy:

  • Encryption: All data in transit is protected via TLS 1.3. Data at rest in our MySQL/Sequelize managed databases utilizes AES-256 encryption.
  • Authentication: Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is mandatory for Admin Control and Client Dashboards.
  • Static & Dynamic Separation: Our public-facing site is a static export for maximum security, while dynamic Node.js modules are isolated within a hardened environment.

4. International Data Transfers & AfCFTA

Mubraiz Resources operates globally. Data may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions outside of your country of residence.

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs): We utilize SCCs for transfers from the EEA/UK to ensure a high level of data protection.
  • Regional Compliance: We adhere to the NDPR for our African operations and the PIPEDA fair information principles for North American logistics.

5. Automated Decision-Making & AI Ethics

Our Driver Intelligence and Global Command Center modules may utilize automated processing to:

  • Optimize Routes: Based on real-time traffic and weather telemetry.
  • Safety Alerts: Automatically flag erratic driving behavior to protect the driver and the cargo.

Note: Drivers and staff have the right to contest decisions made by automated systems that significantly affect them.

6. Your Rights (Global Standard)

Regardless of your location, Mubraiz Resources grants you the following "Excellence Standard" rights:

  • Right to Access: Request a copy of the data held in your Client Dashboard.
  • Right to Erasure: Request the deletion of your data (subject to statutory retention periods for transport logs).
  • Right to Portability: Export your financial ledgers and shipping history in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to Object: Opt-out of the tracking used for "Driver Intelligence" performance monitoring (subject to employment/contractual terms).

7. Sustainability & Transparency

In line with our Green Logistics mission, we aggregate anonymized shipment data to generate ESG reports. This data is stripped of PII and used solely for calculating CO2 reduction milestones and industry benchmarking.
